Meet my mum, Megan, Founder of Peach's Pals
Hey there, furry friends! 🐾 I want to tell you all about my amazing mum, Megan. She’s not just my human—she’s the one who makes Peach’s Pals the best place ever!
Mum has been working with dogs like us for ages, and you can just tell how much she LOVES us. She’s always coming up with fun new activities, like painting sessions (yes, really!) and photoshoots where we get to be the stars, and let me tell you a little secret: Mum is a genius! She’s got a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Animal Science (Bioveterinary Science), which means she knows all about keeping us healthy and happy. Plus, she’s got a Canine First Aid Diploma, so we’re always in safe paws with her.
And don’t even get me started on her baking skills—she makes the best dog treats ever, and she loves sharing them with all of us. Mum’s dedication to animals is truly something special. She’s always thinking about how to make our days more exciting and filled with love. I’m so lucky to have her as my mum, and I know you’ll feel just as lucky to be one of her pals at Peach’s Pals!

Joanne
Meet Joanne! She had a beautiful spaniel, Buddy, for 15 wonderful years, and though she loves all dogs, spaniels have a special place in her heart. Scarborough was Buddy’s favourite spot, so it’s special to her too. Joanne was a Travel Agent for 30 years, but her love for dogs brought her to Peach’s Pals. She brings treats, fills up our kongs, throws lots of balls, and gives the best cuddles. Joanne loves walking us and says it’s a privilege to care for us. She always does her best to keep us happy and safe!

Rebecca
Meet Rebecca! She's got a super cool Collie/Cockerpoo mix named Ted, who you might hear barking for balls or treats. She also have two rescue cats, Max and Clarence - although, she refuses to bring them in to meet us! Booooo! Animals have been part of Rebecca's life forever. Ted tells us that she loves walking him to the pub in Boston Spa for a wine (or two) on weekends. With a background in working with kids, she's great at handling us pups. We're so lucky to have her!
Time to meet another amazing member of our Peach’s Pals team! This is Brenda, who volunteers here with so much love. She used to have a Border Collie for 16 wonderful years, but sadly had to say goodbye. Brenda's favourite colour is bright, happy yellow, and she loves watching Poldark - we prefer Paw Patrol! We've heard her say that her husband is a bit silly (which sounds super fun!), so coming here to hang out with us dogs is a real treat. We love her company and appreciates all she does for us!

Meet Lucy and her soulmate, best friend and child, Michael! We just love them. Michael’s got a cool brother, Marcelo, who hangs out with us too, so it’s always a party when they’re around. Lucy’s favourite colour is green, and she’s a huge fan of someone called Lizzo (not sure who that is — we’re more into Snoop Dogg, obvs). Lucy is always super cheery and has some awesome doggy qualifications, so we know we’re in safe paws when she’s around. She makes every day a tail-wagging good time!

Before we even arrive at Peach's Pals, Nelly’s tail is already wagging with excitement! The team treats her like one of their own, and I couldn’t ask for better care. By the end of the day, she’s happily exhausted, but come morning, she’s ready to go back for more. She absolutely loves it!

Peach’s pals is my dogs ALL TIME favourite place. He has been coming since he was a puppy and still the excitement every time we arrive is like nothing else! Everyone at Peach’s Pals takes such amazing care of our dog, we know he’s in such safe hands. 10/10 recommend for your pups!

Our Cockapoo, Sid, has been attending since he was around 4 months old. He has been shown the most wonderful love, care and attention by the whole team. He can socialise with other dogs of all shapes and sizes in a safe environment and means we can leave him for longer periods of time knowing that he is having a brilliant time. We would be lost without you all!
